They are best suited for simpler artwork and slightly larger text, but are also ideal for more intricate designs depending on the complexity and desired result. The patch is finished off with a merrowed edge border and sewn to the panel with a single needle stitch.
Design Tips:
Minimum detail size: for best results, art elements should be a minimum of 1mm wide. Line weights and details less than 1mm are workable but may lack consistency in production. Alternatively, details less than 1mm may be executed as a single needle stitch instead of a satin stitch.
Minimum text height: for best results, text should be a minimum of 5mm tall. Text smaller than 5mm is workable but may become illegible.
Keep artwork at least 3mm from the edge of the label to prevent the merrowed edge from overlapping and covering the design.
